The Most Fascinating Astrology Facts That Everybody Should Know

We, as humans, are no exception to the rule that life is unpredictable. Life might be a bed of flowers at times, but it can also be a bed of pain at others. Despite the fact that life is full of both joy and pain, the truth is that none of us knows what will happen to us in the days or even hours ahead. Why is it that our lives are so unpredictable? What circumstances are causing these reservations?

Even while science has progressed to the point that it can anticipate the next earthquake, the properties of galaxies billions of light-years away from us, and a variety of other facts that were previously unknown to mankind, it is still unable to foretell our future.

Pseudoscience, such as astrology, has advanced where science has thrown in the towel. Some people believe astrology is a hoax. They dispute how tracking the positions of heavenly bodies can be used to anticipate our future days. What gives celestial bodies the ability to change people's lives?

Is astrology, on the other hand, completely a pseudoscience, or do all of astrology's calculations rely on some type of science? I am a firm believer in astrology's scientific foundation. This interesting subject has long piqued my curiosity, prompting me to research the origins of astrology and learn more about it. Today, I'm going to share some astrology knowledge with you.

What is the origin of Astrology

The beginnings of astrology may be traced back to Babylonia, the ancient cradle of civilization, around the nineteenth century BC. Because of the work of Plato, Aristotle, and others, astrology is considered a science. Though it was originally developed to predict weather, agricultural production, natural disaster warfare, and other events, it has recently found its way into our everyday life. We generally use astrology these days to forecast our future.

Various Astrological colleges

Today, there are three main schools of astrology. The following are the details:

Indian astrology is known as Vedic astrology, or "Jyotish." The ancient sage "Parasara" founded the concept of Indian astrology. While Indian astrology is known as Vedic astrology, it is crucial to emphasize that it is found in "Vedanga," a branch of the Veda, rather than the Veda itself.

There are three types of astrology in Vedic astrology. The following are the details:

Siddhanta

The study of arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, astronomy, and geometry is known as Siddhanta. It aids in the calculation of planetary positions for various celestial bodies.

Samhita

Samhita is the study of the sun's and other celestial bodies' planetary positions and their impact on natural disasters, wars, hurricanes, and various geopolitical effects, among other things.

Hora

Hora is a form of astrology that predicts a person's future and is divided into the following sub-branches:

  • Gola - The positional astronomy is known as Gola.
  • Ganita - is a collection of computational analytical instruments for evaluating Gola's findings.

Chinese astrology-

The Chinese zodiac, also referred as Sheng Xiao, is a 12-year calendar in which a different animal represents each year. Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig are the 12 animals in sequence. The Chinese zodiac signs are arranged in accordance with the most widely accepted Chinese zodiac narrative.

Chinese astrology is one of the most widely held ideas among ordinary people all over the world, and they apply it in their daily lives, despite its popularity in East Asia.

Western Astrology

In Europe and the United States, Western astrology is the most popular. Mesopotamia was the home of Western astrology during the second millennium BC. After Chinese astrology, it took a long time for Western astrology to develop. The Arabs introduced Western astrology to Greece.

There are two branches of Western astrology. They're the -

Natal astrology. :The birth date of a person is the subject of Natal.

Judicial astrology : Eclipses, lunations, ingresses, and other unique points of time are the focus of judicial astrology.

Different astrologers in different parts of the world utilize various forms of astrology to forecast the future of an individual or a country. Astrologers and fortune tellers frequently predict a person's future without presenting any documented evidence to back up their statements. The so-called "scientific" establishment dismisses these astrological predictions as "quackery."

Astrology's science, on the other hand, has just recently been developed by scientists. Real, tabloid astrology, which we occasionally encounter on the internet or in tabloids as a regular horoscope, has no theoretical basis for forecasting that you are a scorpion who will win the lottery today. However, a famous astrologer's calculations, which anticipated what would happen to you in the future and what is occurring to you now, cannot be disregarded. It is also a truth that if the moon's rotation has an impact on the oceans and seas, and is accountable for the tides, then it will certainly have an impact on human life.

In the following days, the discussion over whether astrology is a science or a pseudoscience will continue. Can we truly conclude that it's all a hoax, citing the incident's historical context, exact forecasts made by some astrologers previous to its occurrence, and scientific research? Can we truly demonstrate the spirit by rejecting astrology's science?
